Horseback Riding

Riverview's stable is one of the finest in the camping community. Highly skilled instructors teach horsemanship carefully and thoroughly, English style: walk, trot, canter and jumping in our two oval rings.

Once riders show their skills in the ring, they head out on trail rides through forests full of rock formations and native wildflowers, with trained instructors riding at the front and back of every group.

First-time riders are welcome, and we have horses suited to beginners. When you are ready to jump, experienced instructors guide you safely. You'll get to know the horses by name, and they come back to camp every summer too!
